Sangria is a drink for anytime of the day or night. It’s so refreshing and light one hardly notices the added wine. What could be healthier than to add coconut water to the mix too? Here’s a coconut water drink recipe that comes to us from Davida at The Healthy Maven. I hope you try it. It has an added punch of vodka and wine.
Coconut Water Drinks: Coconut Sangria
- 1 cup pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup mango, chopped
- 1 orange, sliced
- ½ cup vodka
- 1 bottle of white wine
- 1 cup coconut water
- Blend the fruit in a blender or food processor.
- Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher or bowl.
- Let sit for at least 2 hours (longer is better).
- Serve on ice.
Davida says to be careful about drinking too much of this drink that tastes like soda pop. Hangovers are not fun! However, there’s no better cure for hangovers than straight coconut water.
